Lady Knights Softball
The St. Mary Lady Knights won their first game of regionals tonight defeating Bethel 17-2. Ashlyn Kluck got the win striking out 7. Alex Prost had a 3 run home run and finished with 4 Rbis. Kluck added 2 singles and 2 Rbis, and Stevi Jane Harrison had a single. Lady Knights are now 8-7 and will play in the semifinals Thursday at 530 against Summersville at Bluford. Go Knights!!
Cross Country
Averi Robinson (4th), Lily Grubb (6th), and Luke Heaney (6th) ran Saturday morning at the Bluford Cross Country Meet. They all competed in the Junior Varsity division which has runners 3rd-6th grade.
Congratulations to Lily Grubb and Luke Heaney for placing in the top 20 of their division! Lily placed 4th out of 60 girls’ JV runners with a time of 8:28. Luke placed 11th out of 67 boys’ JV runners with a time of 8:27.
Our next cross country meet is Saturday morning, September 16th at Mt. Vernon High School. Go Knights!
