Our Mission
What is the St. Mary School LEGACY FUND?
The St. Mary School Legacy Fund is an endowment fund with the sole purpose of securing a vibrant, robust Catholic education both now and for generations to come.
Whereas donations to most other causes are exhausted for immediate needs, donation to the St. Mary School Legacy Fund are invested in a way that bears fruit indefinitely. This fund for tax-exempt, preservation-focused giving is administered by a board of dedicated St. Mary Parish members. Honest, thoughtful stewardship of the St. Mary School Legacy Fund has allowed for generously supporting current endeavors while continuing to strengthen financially for the future.

This fund is singularly dedicated to advance, in perpetuity, God’s calling for St. Mary School and His children.​

Where does my MONEY GO?
• Work with a member of our Legacy Fund Board to discuss options that best fit your intentions.

• Your endowed fund is prudently invested along with all endowed funds at St Mary. The Endowment’s investment portfolio is well-diversified to provide healthy long-term returns.
​
• After your fund is established, a percentage of endowed fund’s is transferred for use according to the Legacy Fund Agreement.
​
• Investment returns in excess of the distributed amount are retained in the fund, along with the principal to help encourage future growth of the fund.
